Residing in New York's Hudson Valley, Carol Schilansky has been photographing
nature for many years. Well traveled, her portfolio includes images from all over the
world - from sunsets in British Columbia, to deserts in Nevada, to castles in Europe. Participating
in shows and arts fairs nationwide, Carol's photography has won awards for her abstract
eye and ability to capture the true beauty of nature.
As a commercial landscape photographer, Carol's images have been used by real estate and land development companies to showcase the beauty of their properties in brochures and slide shows. Her passion for photography and her
artistic sense, bring a wonderful foundation to her work.

Focusing her work on the intimate studies of nature
from bumblebees to the inner workings of a rose. Carol
shoots 35 mm film format exclusively. Her work frequently
features reflections and shadows using ponds, streams and
the warmth of sunlight to make her subjects shine.
